3 Keys to Learn an Internet Business

I am learning an internet business. For 27 years I have built a network marketing business, but the two
are not totally the same. Oh sure, there are network marketing companies that have links to promote their
products and marketing plan - and they call that internet marketing.
But, that is not what I am talking about.
I am talking about viral blogging, SEO, backlinking, syndication, world wide web traffic, sales capture
pages, conversions, affiliate marketing and --- the best --- 100% commissions!
I'll be honest, a few months ago I didn't know what most of those terms meant.

And then I met David Wood, one of the premier internet marketing guys in the world and it turned my
business upside down.
Why?
When I heard his story - going from broke to a 6 figure income earner, I was more than just inspired.
I saw my future.
You see, the information age has transformed the marketing world.
So I started with the first key to learning an internet business

1. Make a decision to learn an internet business
Many fortunes will be created in the internet marketing space in the next few years.
I made a decision that I will be one of those people -
And that is key -
To be a success in any area - one must first make a decision up front.
As one of my mentors said - using the example of mountain climbing -
The day you decide to do whatever it takes to make your business work is
like the day you decide to climb to the peak of the mountain -
with the resolve of "you'll either find me at the top or dead on the side - I am going up"
this is the day that turns your business around.

2. Surrender to the learning curve
This is the next step. All the terms I mentioned above (seo, syndication, etc) were brand new to me.
Was it a little uncomfortable to dig in and learn these new things?
Sure it was, but, Wow!
I've learned so much!
And I am implementing these new skills into action - and making money at the same time.
I am just getting started - there is more to learn.

3. Surround yourself with mentors
Look for leaders in your business. Who is forging ahead, making money and committed to their team?
Doesn't it make sense to get with a company that is training you in how to learn an internet business which
has leaders who are successful?
Of course it does!
